There’s an amazing worship song I love to sing right now by Jesus Culture. It’s called “Miracles.” The chorus and bridge go like this:

“I believe in You, I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles.
I believe in You, I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles.

The God who was and is to come
The power of the Risen One
The God who brings the dead to life
You’re the God of miracles!
You’re the God of miracles!”

I absolutely love this song! We don’t hear a lot about miracles these days. I wonder why that is. If God is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8) then why don’t hear about miracles like we used to? I don’t know the answer. But I do know I want to have a strong faith to believe that He can and I want to see miracles happen.

This week, on social media, I’ve had two friends list about miracles in their life. I’m talking real-life, only God could’ve don’t that, miracles. One was a friend who had a lump removed from her breast. The doctor had told her that just by looking at it, it was cancer. That it would be aggressive. That it would need to be treated aggressively. Then the pathology came back. Guess what???? It’s not cancer!!!!!!!!!!! I had chills as I read her post. What an answer to prayer!

Then, I had another friend post that it had been a year since since she had an anaphylactic reaction or used her epipen. That may not sound like much but it is. You see she was going to the ER for these reactions almost daily, weekly. The doctors had no answers. It was very scary for this young lady. But a year is an awesome answer to prayer!!!

Reading these two miracles encourages me so much!! I want to see more of this! I know my God is able to heal and deliver! Let’s believe today that He is able to work miracles among us!

“You are the God who works miracles; you showed your might among the nations.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭77:14‬ ‭GNT‬‬
“He alone performs great miracles; his love is eternal.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭136:4‬ ‭GNT‬‬
“He saves and rescues; he performs wonders and miracles in heaven and on earth. He saved Daniel from being killed by the lions.””
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭6:27‬ ‭GNT‬‬

“The Spirit gives one person the power to work miracles; to another, the gift of speaking God’s message; and to yet another, the ability to tell the difference between gifts that come from the Spirit and those that do not. To one person he gives the ability to speak in strange tongues, and to another he gives the ability to explain what is said.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12:10‬ ‭GNT‬‬
