Although I grew up in a Christ-focused home and attended church multiple times a week it was in High School that I made my faith my own. My youth group leader took me out for coffee and intentionally developed a friendship with me. As I observed the difference in how she lived her life as opposed to how I was living I realized something had to change.

The summer before my senior year in High School was the first step towards a life lived in surrender. I began to strive to live my life in a way that my words and actions aligned. I also began to seek to learn more about God daily.
Since that first decision of surrender, my desire has been to obediently walk the path God was calling me to. This continues to be a daily challenge as well as a source of deep joy in my life. Through moves, job loss, health scares, and family challenges God continues to remind me that He is for me and that he desires a relationship with me.
My high school youth group leader not only modeled how to live a life that better glorified God, she was also instrumental in developing a passion for relational mentoring in me.
Regardless of my season in life, I continue to be passionate about encouraging women to pursue Jesus with their whole heart.I’m so thankful for the women who have taken time our of their schedules over the years to pour into me. I consider it a privilege to do the same for others.
