“Follow me!”  It is a call to live and a call to die.

Here is the cliffhanger :

If we cannot live abundantly committed to Jesus and for Jesus today, (John 14:21)
What makes us think will we be able to die for him tomorrow?

Daughters of God :: when God calls, He doesn’t hand you a menu from which to choose.[1]  He simply says, “Follow me,”[2] and He isn’t speaking about the hack of His words modern day social media has twisted and interwoven it into this self-toting culture.  Just, “Follow Me.”  Follow Jesus.

Follow Jesus!

This author would inquire ::  Have we conditioned ourselves to be okay with God’s word a la carte?  Do we “pick and choose” the parts of God with which we are okay?  Perhaps, there was a teacher in your past who led you to believe this is possible.  It is not.  Scripture is used to teach, warn, and rebuke.[3]  There is no such thing as a Bible Buffet.  Teaching God’s word a la carte is a disgusting reality in the christian nation today.   To that end, the concept above may be new and striking.  Shocking.  Seismic.

It may speak to your heart.[4]

It may cause you to fall to your knees.

My ultimate prayer is that your eyes[5] would be open to seeing the Truth—God’s furious Truth, fierce unending love,[6],[7] and righteous indignation[8]—ready to assault[9] and decimate worldly ideas and actions destroying His people, His Church and His culture.[10]  This Truth is the most powerful weapon in the world [11] because spiritual warfare is not simply about demonic sightings.  It’s about lies, genuine beliefs vs. false beliefs[12]—and, dare I say, ignorance.

A lie told often enough will eventually become accepted truth, but no matter how many times it is stated, it is still a lie.  Think on that ::  worldly truth = constant, regurgitated lies.  Evil doesn’t become good just because the majority accepts it.

Ladies :: In this life, we are allowed to choose the world or faith in Jesus,[13] the Word of God, His grace and redemption.  We choose Jesus and the rest is done.

Make no mistake about it; we are accountable the eternity of our soul.

So, I ask again ::

If we cannot live abundantly commited to Jesus and for Jesus today,
What makes us think will we be able to die for him tomorrow?

Isaiah 43:1-3 But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, … … He who formed you, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior. …”
