Hope is a hard word. It’s a hard promise. It’s a hard thing to do.
Life is hard. Friendships are failing. Relationships are ending. Jobs are stressful. Family life is hard. How are we supposed to have this thing called hope?
Hope is a huge reminder for me. I struggle with it a lot. When I’m really struggling, I find myself asking God why would I be hopeful right now. There’s nothing there.
But, I want to remind you all, that the cross, what happened to Jesus that day, that is our constant hope.
Life is hard, it is. And that probably won’t change. But, our attitude can change. Yes, life is hard. Yes, things happen. But, is we constantly remind ourselves the hope we have in Christ, we will have hope for better days. We will have hope things will change. We will have hope. We do have hope.
We won’t be on this earth forever. We have the hope that we will be in Heaven with our Father one day. And we get to worship Him with no more troubles. We have hope.
Hold onto hope.
“In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
